Codes of dress.
The codes of dress for this project need to match the theme and music of the piece. In this case the genre if alternative rock so we need to dress our band members to suit the stereotypes of the genre.
We want each member of the band to dress slightly different to reflect different personalities so that each members is an individual and memorable to the audience. On the right is a picture of the band.
Our narrative cast members, particularly Zak, the main actor, needs to be dressed appropriately to look like young male alternative rock fans and light drug users. This may include wearing rough, alternative clothing, bright colours and different layers, opposed to simply jeans and a t-shirt, so that they stand out. On the right is a picture of Zak and potential cast members/clothing ideas.
The apple 'dealer' needs to look urban and fairly intimidating to suit how we believe a drug dealer would appear. This may include wearing sports clothing such as Nike or Adidas.
