Planning.

This page is dedicated to showing all of my planning work. This is the most crucial part of the project, and I fully believe that high quality planning will lead to a high quality project. There are many different factors that must be considered and worked out that will contribute to the success of the final piece. For a music video, the most important factors will be casting, locations and editing however, all other elements cannot be ignored or done to a lower standard.

Narrative Production

This page shows everything that has contributed towards the construction of the narrative. To do this we analysed the song and then brainstormed and developed ideas generated after this. When happy with a general narrative we produced a storyboard for the whole piece, including performance aspects.

Casting

On this page I will show the main cast members and the band. The band is the main focus as they are what the song is based on and should be appearing most in the video.

The button below leads to more detail:

Codes of dress

This is another very important element of the project. We need to convince the audience what a cast member is supposed to be, when they may not feature much.

Song analysis

As we now have the song chosen, this is the song analysis for 'What For?'. It is very important that all cast and crew have a strong understanding of the song so that they can act appropriately. It is also crucial that members of the crew are all on the same page so our ideas are all relevant and interlinked.
